Fifth Triennial meeting of ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS
Howard Weiner presented the 2011 ACTRIMS Donald Paty Memorial Lecture at the closing session of the ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS meeting in Amsterdam on Saturday, October 22. Steinman talked about “The role of the innate immune system in the progressive phase of MS.”

ACTRIMS Founder, Kenneth Johnson, MD dies at 79
The career of MS researcher and clinician Dr. Kenneth P. Johnson is described in an obituary written by his colleague and friend, Dr. Suhayl Dhib-Jalbut.  ACTRIMS invites associates of Dr. Johnson to pay tribute to his contributions to the field of MS and his committment to the career development of colleagues and young researchers.

ACTRIMS meets with CMSC in 2012
ACTRIMS announces that its 17th annual meeting will be held June 1 and 2 in collaboration with the Consortium of MS Centers annual meeting May 30-June 2 in San Diego.
